Adult Children

I'm reflecting on the delight of adult children (daughters in my case). How amazing to see the little one you bore, nurtured, nourished, taught, loved and tried to influence for the best, grow up to be talented, competent, contributing adults. Often they have children of their own and are watching the same process themselves. There is a pride in a parent's heart unmatched by any other. Coming close is the pride one has in one's children's friends who spent the night, ate suppers, played and now are also competent, contributing adults. Wonderful. I like the way world works. ~ blessings
